Patient-centered care: A glimpse into the health gender gap

Patient-centered care: A glimpse into the health gender gap

Thursday, April 21st at 12:30pm

Saskatoon: E2254

Regina: RGH Auditorium

Important differences exist between women and men and recognizing these differences can lead to safer and more effective health care for our women patients. From drugs being tested only on males, to physiological differences causing different disease presentations in women, and the concept of “bikini medicine”, the recognition of sex and gender directed health care is important to our future practices. We are happy to have Dr. Perrot come to present about these issues and teach us how to better care for all our patients.

Please RSVP for lunch.
