Global Health Conference 2016 - Gains and Sustains: Sustainability and Global Health

The Global Health Conference for 2016 has been announced.

When: Saturday October 1, 206

As the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) define new health and development priorities for the global agenda, we need to better understand the critical intersections between global health and our environment. We also need to find creative ways to sustain and extend the important gains that have been made in global health over the last two decades. It is in this spirit that Sustain the Gains: Sustainability in Global Health Conference will address the implications of the SDGs for global health research, education and practice and explore new ideas for action and collaboration across sectors. Speakers from diverse backgrounds, disciplines and sectors will be invited to ensure a rich and dynamic discussion relevant to students and faculty in the health professions, law, public policy, veterinary sciences, engineering, business, and other academic disciplines, as well as community-based organizations
